Nikolaus Kopp is a printmaker who lives in Cambria. He was born in Germany and lived in Dresden with his family. As a young boy he survived the Allied firebombing of that city. His father was shot by the Nazies for plotting against Hitler. His mother and he came to the United States after the war.
