Details
This exhibition brings together nine powerful and historically significant works from the Art Bridges Collection that explore how memory, identity, and place shape who we are. Spanning painting, sculpture, and video from 1966 to 2020, the exhibition includes artists like Alex Katz, Richard Prince, Rachel Rose, and Félix González-Torres.
Each piece tells a story—sometimes joyful, sometimes haunting—about growing up, fitting in, and finding connection. Visitors are invited to reflect on their own experiences, especially through González-Torres’ participatory candy piece, which gently explores themes of care, generosity, and loss with a lens towards queer experience. This exhibition creates space for all ages and backgrounds to see themselves reflected in modern and contemporary American art.
