Explore the art, history, and cultures of the American West at the Autry Museum in Los Angeles.
Located in beautiful Griffith Park, the Autry features world-class galleries filled with Native American art and cultural materials, film memorabilia, paintings, interactive areas, an ethnobotanical garden, and more. Stroll through the exhibitions and view artworks by Thomas Moran and Frederic Remington alongside pieces by Georgia O’Keeffe, Virgil Ortiz, Luis Tapia, and David Levinthal.
Also on view is Masters of the American West, an annual invitational exhibition showcasing dozens of the best contemporary American landscape painters.

As part of its mission, the Museum offers a variety of opportunities for aspiring artists of all ages, including the next generation’s art enthusiasts. From classes to camps, there is something every young artist will enjoy.
Adult Art Programs
From basic techniques to hands-on experiences in contemporary and multicultural art forms, we strive to stimulate creative thinking and encourage integration of the arts into every aspect of daily life. All of our art classes are taught by professional teaching artists.

In consideration of our instructors, please review our cancelation policy: Students must pay in full at time of enrollment. Refunds may be requested up to 30 days prior to the workshop date and will be processed minus a $100 cancelation fee. No refunds or transfers will be granted after the 30 day mark. If the Museum of Art cancels the workshop, students will receive a full refund.
