The Museum sponsors dedicated artist groups that meet regularly to share ideas, experiences and artistic adventures. Artist group members become eligible for group exhibits in fine craft, photography, printmaking, watercolor, sculpture and painting. There is an added $10 fee to join an artist group, concurrent with your SLOMA membership.

CENTRAL COAST CRAFTMAKERS

Focuses on contemporary fine crafts including clay, glass, fiber, metal, paper and wood. Meets infrequently at fellow artisan’s studios or at the Museum.

CENTRAL COAST PHOTOGRAPHIC SOCIETY

Shares artistic and technical experiences with photographers. Meets the second Tuesday of each month at the Museum.

CENTRAL COAST PRINTMAKERS

Concentrates on a variety of printmaking processes including etching, lithography and silk-screening. Meets the second Sunday of each month at artist studios or at the Museum.

THE PAINTER’S GROUP (formerly OPAG)

Promotes use of media such as pastel, collage, oil, acrylic, watercolor, and encaustic.
