Elaine Badgley Arnoux and her son Dan Badgley complete the Hometown series with their joint exhibition entitled We Walk This Path Together showing from July 5 through September 1, 2019.
Mother and son moved from San Luis Obispo to San Francisco in 1965. Elaine still has that magical presence—a force of nature in her 90s. She continues to take on the plight of the world while expressing her personal narratives in paintings, graphics and sculpture.
While Dan Badgley spent his early years in San Luis Obispo, he grew up during the psychedelic sixties in San Francisco, went on to study art at the City College of San Francisco and at the College of Marin, where he developed his Abstractionist style he paints with today. Dan now lives in Albuquerque, New Mexico—where he calls Mother Earth.
We Walk This Path Together celebrates its opening reception on Friday, July 5 with an opportunity to meet the artists.
