SLOMA is proud to bring its art into the community through in-school programs, volunteer opportunities and other activities.
For the 2018-19 school year, SLOMA, in partnership with the San Luis Obispo Office of Education, launched AWAKEN, a countywide student arts program to encourage and showcase student artists. The program culminated in three distinctly different themed exhibitions, installed at SLOMA by the museum’s professional curators.
Thank you to all the art teachers, administrators, and especially the young artists for participating in AWAKEN.
